Think beautiful, intimate portraits that capture your personality, your femininity, and whatever version of sexy feels good to you.

Maybe that’s white lace and your wedding veil. Maybe it’s black lingerie, messy hair, and a little attitude. We can make room for both! I love me some super creative shots. ;)

Your session is a chance to slow down, get pampered, and create something personal during a season when so much of your attention is going toward everything and everyone else!

And yes, your photographs can become a pretty incredible gift for your partner! Imagine them opening an album filled with gorgeous images of you the morning of the wedding...he won't be able to wait!! Or maybe you save them for the beginning of the wedding night. Girl he won't even make it to the second page! 😂

Hey, I’m Ashley—your photographer and professional hype woman!

I’m the owner of Wander in Lace, a mom of two girls, and the woman who will be cheering you on from behind the camera.

I’ve struggled with my own body image, too. I understand how hard it can be to look at yourself without immediately noticing the things you wish were different. Boudoir has helped me see a side of myself I didn’t know was there, and that’s a big part of why this work matters to me.

I want to give you the space and guidance to explore that for yourself.

You don’t need to arrive knowing your angles or feeling wildly confident in lingerie. The clients you see in these pictures aren't models. They're women just like you who were nervous to do this, but they wanted to feel sexy and beautiful and amazing about themselves!

Before your session, we’ll talk about what you’re excited about, what makes you nervous, and how you want your photographs to feel. Then I’ll walk you through the poses, expressions, and tiny details. Where to look, how to move, what to do with those hands—you literally just have to show up. I'll handle the rest!

You don’t have to change your body before you do this.

If your first thought was, “I’d love to, but I need to lose a little weight first,” I hear you.

Wedding planning can come with enough opinions about how you should look, but you’re welcome in my studio as you are today.

You don’t need a flat stomach, perfect skin, or experience in front of a camera. You don’t even have to feel completely comfortable with your body to be curious about seeing yourself differently. Most, if not all, of my clients don't.

We’ll choose outfits you feel good in, talk through your concerns, and use lighting and posing to create beautiful photographs of you.

The ladies who walk into my studio don't have confidence first. That's WHY they're doing this. They go from thinking things like, "Should I be doing this? What if I feel completely awkward? This is totally not something I would normally do!" to..."Wow, I feel SO sexy and beautiful. I can't believe that's ME in those photos!! I was so comfortable by the end!"

Confidence grows during the experience. You don’t have to bring it with you!

First, let’s chat.

When you reach out, my assistant Chelsey will help you get started and arrange your complimentary phone consultation with me.

We’ll talk about your wedding date, your ideas, the investment, and any questions running through your head. If you’re planning a gift, tell us when you’d like to have it in your hands so we can talk through timing!

We’ll help you get ready.

After booking, you’ll receive preparation guidance and a questionnaire so I can get to know you and personalize your experience.

We’ll talk about outfits and the look you want to create. You can bring pieces you love, explore the client closet, or mix the two!

There is no need to have your entire session planned before you contact us. That’s what we’re here to help with!

Your studio day is time for you.

Your four-hour studio experience includes professional hair and makeup, wardrobe selection, your guided photoshoot, and a same-day image reveal.

Our Manchester studio has exposed brick, romantic details, and plenty of opportunities for the moody, artistic photographs Wander in Lace is known for.

We’ll put on music, get you settled, and take things one step at a time. Snacks and drinks are available to help keep your energy up, too.

I’ll guide you through the photographs.

Once you’re ready, I’ll coach you through posing and expressions throughout your shoot.

You won’t be left standing in front of the camera wondering what to do next. I’ll demonstrate every pose for you, adjust your hair, and help you settle into each pose.

Then you get to see yourself.

After a lunch break, we’ll meet for your private, same-day image reveal and ordering appointment.

You’ll see your photographs in a reveal slideshow, choose your favorites, and explore the albums and artwork you’d love to take home. Your selected images receive final professional retouching before your finished photographs and products are delivered.

A luxury album gives your partner something they can hold, open, and enjoy again and again and again!

We’ll choose the images and album details together, creating something that feels personal to you. Whether your photographs are soft and romantic or bold and a little spicy, your album can hold all those sides of you.

And you’re allowed to want a copy for yourself. ;) You’re the art, babe!

When should I book before my wedding?

Reach out early so we can plan around your wedding and the date you want your gift ready. Albums take four to six weeks to produce, and we want to make sure you have it in your hands before things get crazy on the wedding weekend! In addition to those 4-6 weeks, we need time for your session, image selection, final editing, album approval, and shipping.

That means the production window is only part of the timeline. Share your gift deadline with us (or your wedding date), and we’ll help you work backward from there! If your wedding is coming up soon, get in touch so we can discuss what’s possible.

A $500 session fee/deposit reserves your date.

Your experience includes:

• Professional hair and makeup with my fabulous artists, Sam and Jen.

• A four-hour studio experience.

• Client closet access and wardrobe guidance. I have hundreds of lingerie pieces you can choose from!

• Expert posing and expression coaching.

• A private, same-day image reveal and ordering appointment.

Albums, digital images, and other artwork are purchased separately.

During your consultation, we’ll walk through the collection options and payment choices so you can plan with a clear understanding of the investment.

In-house pre-payment plans are available for up to 12 months, with Afterpay and Square payment options also available. If you’re creating a wedding gift, we’ll discuss your payment schedule alongside your product timeline. Products are delivered after your payment plan is paid in full.

Have questions? You’re in good company.

What if I’m nervous or awkward?

You can tell me! We’ll talk through what’s making you nervous, and I’ll guide you throughout the session. You don’t have to know how to pose or put on a performance. We’ll start slowly and give you time to get comfortable.

Do I need to lose weight first?

Nope. You’re welcome as you are. We can talk about any concerns during your consultation and choose outfits, lighting, and poses that help you feel comfortable and beautifully photographed.

What should I wear?

Bring pieces you feel good in or would love to try. Lingerie, bodysuits, robes, a favorite button-up, and meaningful accessories can all be part of your session.
For bridal touches, you might bring your veil, wedding shoes, or jewelry. You can also choose something completely different from your wedding look. We’ll help you put it together.

Do you have outfits I can use?

Yes! Our client closet includes lingerie, bodysuits, robes, and accessories, with pieces ranging from XXS to 4XL. You’re welcome to explore it alongside anything you bring from home.

Do I have to be nude?

No. We’ll talk about the coverage and style you’re comfortable with. Beautiful boudoir photographs can be created in lingerie, a robe, a shirt, or other pieces you enjoy wearing. You choose your comfort level.

Will you share my photographs online?

Only with your permission. You decide whether all, some, or none of your images may be shared, and we won’t share them without a signed release.
Keeping your photographs private is completely okay.

How do you retouch my photographs?

Your purchased images receive professional retouching. Temporary things like pimples, bruises, and scratches can be removed. Permanent features such as scars and stretch marks are left in place unless you request otherwise.
If you have a specific concern or request, let’s talk about it.

Can this be a surprise for my partner?

Absolutely. Let us know you’re planning a surprise and when you’d like to give it. We can discuss communication and delivery arrangements with that in mind.

Do I have to be giving the photographs as a gift?

You can book this experience entirely for yourself. Getting married is a lovely reason to celebrate, and you get to decide what that celebration looks like.

Where is the studio?

Wander in Lace is located in the Waumbec Mill buildings at 250 Commercial Street in Manchester, New Hampshire.

How much time should I set aside?

Plan for a four-hour studio experience, including hair and makeup, your photoshoot, and your same-day reveal. Give yourself time to enjoy it without rushing straight to the next wedding appointment.
